Overlooking Lake Hamana and located right next to Flower Park and Hamamatsu Zoo, Hamanako Grand Hotel Sazanamikan boasts large indoor/outdoor hot spring baths. Spacious guest rooms feature a seating area and an en suite bathroom. The hotel provides free 40-minute shuttle services from Hamamatsu Shinkansen (Bullet Train) Station.
The air-conditioned rooms are fitted with a TV, a fridge and an electric kettle. A hairdryer and free toiletries are provided in the bathroom. Some rooms come with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and Japanese futon bedding.
Guests at Sazanamikan Grand Hotel can enjoy a treatment in the massage salon, or sing their favourite songs at the karaoke lounge. Japanese tea is served in a traditional ceremony at tearoom Yushin-an. Wired internet can be used at the lobby at extra charge.
Local tourist attractions include Hamanako Pal Pal Amusement Park, a 3-minute drive, and Kanzanji Temple, a 5-minute drive away from the property. A ferry terminal for the lake cruise is situated right in front of the hotel.
Local speciality unagi (eel) dishes can be enjoyed at Unagi-ya restaurant. Garden Lounge Lavender café serves deserts with tea/coffee, while Club Loung Joy is a perfect place for sipping drinks at night.
