A 15-minute drive from Kagoshima Airport, Oyado Alps offers simple rooms with a private hot spring bath. Guests can also refresh in the more spacious reservable private hot spring baths or go fishing and have it cooked for an extra cost. Free parking is on-site and JR Kareigawa Train Station is a 5-minute drive away.
Guest rooms feature a fridge and a safety deposit box. Japanese Yukata robes and slippers are provided for all guests. The en suite bathroom comes with a hairdryer. Air-conditioning and the use of flat-screen TVs are offered at an extra charge. Guests can enjoy soaking in a hot springs bath in their guest rooms.
Alps Oyado is a 10-minute drive from Wake Shrine and a 30-minute drive from Maruo Falls. Kirishima Shrine is a 40-minute drive away.
Luggage storage is available and tours can be arranged for traveling around the area. During the summer, guests can enjoy Nagashi Somen meals, where noodles are carried across running cold water through a flume of bamboo.
Kachan-tei is open during the winter, offering Japanese dishes and Jingisukan grilled mutton dishes. Guests who wish to have Jingisukan or Nagashi Somen meals must make a reservation at time of booking.
